Athens / Greece based percussionist Vaggelis Paraskevaidis presents his first single “Claptrap“, taken from his new album “Electrolytes” that released independently on the 4th of October 2024.

The video was created by Vaggelis Paraskevaidis himself using vintage cartoon footage.

“Claptrap” is an pill sized ode to the timeless absurdity of human experience, where some people are twerking on camera while others are bombed to smithereens. A potential dance hymn at a party thrown by existential dread”.

The single is available from the artist’s bandcamp page and many major digital platforms by Jazz Breeze Records.

The album is dedicated by the artist to his beloved uncle Tolis Mastrokalos (1952-2023).
